I've been so uninspired lately. Hopefully the onset of spring will bring new life in my photo adventures.

AWHL Annual Fundraiser....

April 15th 2011 was a historic day for the AWHL. It was the night of their annual fundraiser and I was glad to help out with a bit of setup and a night of photography. It’s very little in comparison of countless hours that are put into setting this event up but it’s always a pleasure to work with these wonderful women. It was held at the Old Mill and the theme this year was “Cirque” which included performances by A2D2 (an aerial dance company ) around the venue and a show in the middle of the dinner. A fantastic show for a great event. The silent Auction was a success as well as the evening as a whole as they were able to go above and beyond their goals for fundraiser! So many busy signals were taken care of that night and I’m glad I’m able to show a few images from that evening:

Wedding #2 ….

On the weekend of the 2nd I was lucky to be a part of the wedding of my friend Edwina and her now husband Michael. They had a wonderful ceremony in Markham in a beautiful church and a reception at the Crystal Fountain Banquet hall just down the street. A traditional Chinese meal was served followed by a wonderful arrangement of desserts and fruits. As usual I wasn’t the official photographer (it’s very rare that I am when it comes to friends weddings – just a personal rule I try to keep if possible) but I was able to take advantage of some amazing sightlines and take a few shots to capture their moment. The next wedding is at the end of April, so for now here are a few shots from M&E’s wedding.

Blue Jays Baseball....

I created an avatar to cheer for the leafs at the beginning of hockey season and I've decided to do the same for the Jays. A slight variation on the Leafs logo. Same background texture. I embossed the logo by using layers and offsetting them just slightly. I could've used the feature in Photoshop but i like how i can control he colours more this way.
